Entry-Level Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) Technician

Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented RMM Administrator to be a caretaker of our various Remote Monitoring and Management applications. Ensuring our endpoints are healthy, our patches are current, and our automation is automating. This position is currently repetitive handling the <5% where automation fails. In addition, the position has primary responsibility for several RMM applications; of which you will be the lead engineer. The RMM Technician will also be liaison to clients and our internal IT groups for their automation needs.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor client systems, servers, and workstations using Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools
Assist with application management tasks including software installation, updates, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Utilize ConnectWise Automate to monitor alerts, deploy software, and support automation workflows
Respond to system alerts and service tickets in a timely manner
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patch management and system health checks
Document troubleshooting steps, procedures, and resolutions accurately
Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or engineers when necessary
Support automation projects and process improvement initiatives within the Automations Department
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism
Required Qualifications
1–3 years of IT experience: Ideally in a Help Desk or Junior Admin capacity.
Platform Familiarity: Prior experience with tools like ConnectWise Automate, DattoRMM, NinjaOne, or Kaseya is a huge plus.
The "Scripter" Mindset: A basic understanding of PowerShell or similar scripting languages. Interest or experience in application management and IT automation. You don't need to be a developer, but you should know how to Google a script and edit it without breaking the world.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree, technical certification, or coursework in Information Technology or related field
Internship, help desk, or technical support experience preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
Exposure to scripting or automation tools is a plus
Work Environment
Full-time, in-office position (40 hours per week)
Reports directly to the Automations Manager
