Realtime Antivirus Management
Realtime Antivirus Management is composed of two components: Desktop Anti-virus Management and E-mail Antivirus Management. Realtime Antivirus Management provides around the clock detection of virtually all types of computer viruses. Undetected viruses can cause thousands of dollars in lost data and productivity.
Realtime Antivirus Management uses ICSA certified antivirus products to provide unparalleled enterprise level virus protection.
Realtime Antivirus Management includes:
- Installation and configuration of enterprise level antivirus program
- Automatic distribution of virus software updates throughout the enterprise
- Daily checks to ensure latest virus updates are installed
- Weekly checks to ensure all machines have performed scans
- Troubleshoot problems associated with virus update distribution or weekly scans
- Realtime virus tracking and troubleshooting of identified and quarantined viruses
- Antivirus scanning of incoming and outgoing e-mail and attachments
- Notification to both the sender and intended recipient of the infected e-mail of identified e-mail virus infection
- Ensure viruses are identified, quarantined, and cleaned
- Take available and appropriate measures, where possible, to protect the environment against viruses that have not yet been defined and cured by the antivirus software company
- Implement antivirus software updates
- Management reporting and tracking statistics on types of viruses detected
Antivirus management can only be as effective as the major anti-virus software companies’ published detection and prevention software. There are occasions whereby new viruses can propagate at a rate faster than the ability of the antivirus software companies to respond and issue prevention software. In these instances, removal and remediation of these types of viruses will be performed as an above base service.
